General Bedroom Information
The floors of both bedrooms are carpeted, and both rooms have blackout/thermal lined curtains.

Views and Privacy
There is a very large private lawned area outside the bedrooms at the back of the chalet, and woodland on the hill behind, so this provides peace and tranquillity to help you sleep at night and privacy during the day. There are often birds and rabbits scurrying around on the grass and you may hear an owl hooting softly in the woodland!

Living & Facilities

Lounge/Diner
We have two smart and comfortable 2 seater leather sofas, several coffee tables, and an LCD HD colour TV. There is a tile top dining table with four chairs, and an electric coal effect fire. There is Amtico wood effect flooring, which is comfortable to walk on and easy to clean. There are large patio doors which look out over the leisure park, nature reserve, dunes around the edge of the bay and the beautiful surrounding countryside.

Outside Patio Dining and Relaxing
Outside is a patio with a table, four chairs and a parasol, so you can eat alfresco if you wish, or just relax and admire the spectacular views. There are trellis planters either side to give you some privacy without spoiling the views and large lawned areas just in front where children can play in safety. We have a sensor operated light by the patio door for your safety at night.

The Kitchen
The modern fitted kitchen has a multi-function fan oven and easy clean ceramic hob with an extractor fan above. There is also a microwave oven, electric kettle, coffee machine and electric toaster. We have also provided loads of cooking utensils, cutlery, crockery and glasses. Because the kitchen is at the front of the chalet, you can even admire the lovely view while you do the cooking or washing up.

Location & Surroundings

Stunning Location Overlooking Oxwich Bay
The chalet is at the top of this beautifully landscaped gently sloping park, so there are really lovely views from the lounge, kitchen and patio. In the early morning you can watch the mist rising up from the bay and nature reserve and it is so peaceful that you can hear the waves lapping over the beach, along with the morning chorus of bird song.

A Stones Throw from a National Nature Reserve and the Beach
The beach is less than ten minutes walk from our chalet, and Oxwich Nature Reserve with it's gorgeous sand dunes and marshlands is just inland from the beach, so within sight and walking distance of the chalet. There are boardwalk paths and special viewing sites to help you explore and enjoy your time there. You will find an extraordinarily huge variety of flora and fauna, some of it very rare, including wild orchids among the sand dunes.

Mumbles
Mumbles, about 20 minutes drive from our chalet, to the West of Swansea, became a very popular holiday destination during Victorian times and is now even more popular. There are dozens of lovely cafes and restaurants vying for your attention so each does their utmost to offer you the very best food, drinks and service. There are also loads of chic boutiques, art galleries and other individual shops, and a few well known shops and supermarkets.

Seansea
East of Mumbles is the main part of Swansea, where you will find amazing museums, including the National Maritime Museum, many more fabulous restaurants, bars and cafes and lots of larger shops and supermarkets. There is a wonderful promenade around the bay which runs all the way from Mumbles past Swansea, ending at the smart new Maritime Quarter. By the side of this are many activities, such as mini-golf, and other more unusual activities.
