The Sleeping Accommodation
No 20 has 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with twin beds. A further fold out single bed and travel cot are available, if required.

The Bedding
Bedding and Bed linen is provided for the beds. If you will be using the travel cot, please bring your own cot bedding.

There is a wardrobe in each bedroom and beside drawers in the main bedroom

There are wall mounted electric heaters in both bedrooms.

Living & Facilities 

The Living Area
No 20 has an open plan living/dining/kitchen area. The living area has a cream leather sofa and armchair, a coffee table, a 32 inch LCD television and DVD player. Wifi is available. The floor is tiled with a wool rug over.

The Kitchen Area
The kitchen is well equipped with crockery, culterly, kitchen utensils, glasses, pans etc. There is a microwave, a cooker with oven, a small fridge freezer, a sink, toaster and a slow cooker.

The Dining Area
In the dining are are a dining table and chairs and a dresser.

The Bathroom
The bathroom is fully tiled. There is a bath with a shower over.

Other faciilities
Other facilities include a hair dryer, an iron and ironing board, folding beach chairs and a high chair.

Outside
Freshwater Bay Holiday Village has 2 storey holiday homes arranged in short terraces in landcaped grounds. No 20 is near to the front of the site and the beach. An allocated parking space is outside.

What Makes this Location Special?
Freshwater Bay Holiday Village is very close to a lovely sandy beach in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. The coastal scenery is outstanding. This area was voted the second best coastal destination in the world by National Geographic. The location is also very convenient for visiting local towns, castles, beauty spots, theme parks and other tourist attractions. It enjoys a rural setting and a mild climate.

The location is ideal for relaxing or for activities such as walking, boating, surfing, fishing etc. It appeals to families, couples, individuals and groups.

Other Beaches Nearby
Nearby there are plenty of other beaches such as Barafundle, Manorbier, Broadhaven South and Freshwater West. Children enjoy rockpooling at Manorbier. Surfers and those who like wild beaches head for Freshwater West. Barafundle is very special. It was named as one of the top 12 beaches in the world. There are quiet beaches off the beaten track such as Bullslaughter and Swan Lake Bay. Tenby and Saunderfoot have traditional seaside town beaches.

There are many other places to visit in the vicinity such as Pembroke Castle, Bosherston Lily Ponds (National Trust), St Govans Chapel, Caldey Island, Stack Rocks, Folly Farm Adventure Park, Ritec Valley Quad Bikes Activity Centre, Oakwood Theme Park, Heatherton Activity Park, Manor House Wildlife and Leisure Park and the historic towns of Tenby and Pembroke. There are plenty of good places to eat locally including the on site bar/restaurant.

The accommodation is only 8 miles from Tenby and 4 miles from Pembroke (4 miles).

Directions & Getting Here 

Arriving By Car: At Carmarthen take A40 then A477 towards Pembroke Dock. At Milton turn left for Lamphey. At T-junction turn right. At T-junction in Lamphey turn left. Turn right and follow signs to Freshwater East. Turn right down hill to beach & holiday village.

Arriving By Train: The nearest station is in the neighbouring village of Lamphey - approx 2 miles from site and there is a station in the town of Pembroke - 4 miles away - where you could find a taxi, however I am willing to collect you. Also local bus service.

Arriving By Bus/Coach: National Express coaches stop at Pembroke - 4 miles from site - where you could find a taxi, however I am willing to collect you. Also local bus service.

Nearest Airport: Nearest airport is Cardiff - approx 1 hour 40 minute drive from site.

Based on 2 nights How about a surfing, climbing, kayaking or fishing break? Surf the beaches of Manorbier and Freshwater West (coaching available). Climb sea cliffs at St Govans.
