East Wittering is a quiet, small village 7 miles south Chichester.
There is a good sandy beach suitable for bathing and beach games.
There are facilities for scuba diving [a scuba school is in the village], very suitable for wind surfing and water skiing.
Good walks around the area. Plenty of restaurants and cafes. The village has 3 banks and good food shops. The historic towns of Chichester and Arundel are within a short car drive, There are frequent buses into Chichester with its beautiful cathedral and walled walk around the city.
Glorious Goodwood race course is just a few miles away. The important Festival Theatre also in Chichester has an excellent programme of entertainment and drama often with many well known actors taking part.
