Southend is a great place for you and the family, with the greatest theme park in essex, as well as the mile and 1/4 long pier (the biggest plesure pier in the world).
Lots of bed and breakfast/hotels along the coast; the town centre is full of the latest shops there are lots of coffee shops as well as restaurants too the beach is very safe with the local life gaurd.
The seafront is also well known for the westcliff casino, great place to eat!!! and gamble a good night out!!! lots of sand and sea great fun.
