Well I lived in Sidlesham for 10 years around 1978- 88 and loved the place. I was born in Chichester and moved to Sidlesham. I played football for the village team and made some great friends during my time there. It's a nice little village where evrything social centres on the three ( or two pubs now!) in the village and the local football & Social Club.
The pubs are both excellent, The Anchor and The Crab and Lobster, down by the harbour. Both highly recommended in my day. You have the local bird reserve, known asThe Ferry, which is a facinating place. Not sure if you can walk and fish there anymore?
Anyhow, well worth a visit as indeed I hope to do, sometime this summer!
