Lynton and Lynmouth are two beautiful villages on the rugged coastline of North Devon. Some of the most fantastic coastal views include the Valley of the Rocks which is breathtaking.
One of my most favourite views is when I return home along the A39 from Porlock and as I descend Countisbury Hill, the view from there always knocks me out and I have to pull in to the layby and just sit and stae and think how lucky I am to see Lynmouth Bay and the rocky cliffs laid out before me.
Some experienced surfers say that some of the best waves are just off the Lynmouth coast.
I am lucky because I retired from teaching to come and live here in a lovely little pub just 1 km away at Lynbridge. We have a bar, a riverside restaurant and 8 en suite bedrooms and we welcome guests from all over the world.
The pub is called The Bridge Inn. So, come and join us if you are in the area.
