Living & Facilities
KitchenOur kitchen may be compact but has most things required for four people on holiday. Ample crockery, cutlery, utensils, full size electric cooker with ceramic hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, tassimo coffee machine, kettle and more.
Lounge/dinerOur lounge has two arm chairs & sofa, electric fire, coffee tables, a flat screen free sat TV/DVD player, Radio/CD player with iPod dock. WiFi available. A selection of discs/ tapes and books are stored in the oak dresser and indoor games in the drinks cabinet. A dropped leaf table comfortably seats two to four people. The large sliding patio doors lead from the lounge to the garden.
BathroomFamily bathroom with corner bath and shower over, w.c., washbasin, shaver socket.
Enclosed private GardenFrom the lounge there is a patio with garden furniture for "alfresco" eating, a good size lawn and flower beds and additional patio. The garden path leads back to the front of the Annexe via steps or ramp.
Location & Surroundings
AreaSet in quiet area in the village of Chickerell, near to village store, Post Office, Chemist, Pubs, and Churches. Weymouth's sandy beaches 3 miles and the South West Coastal path and the World Heritage Jurassic coast within 2 miles. Abbotsbury with its swannery & gardens are 8 miles west - Dorchester, Dorsets county town, is 9 miles north. There are many larger towns such as Bournemouth, Salisbury, Bath or Exeter to visit for a day.
ActivitiesExcellent area for walking - along the coast or exploring the delightful Dorset villages. Bird watching at the two RSPB centres in Weymouth is a must. There are plenty of seaside activties - sailing, diving, wind surfing, swimming etc.,9 screen cinema & the sailing academy is 7 miles away at Portland.
Directions & Getting Here
Arriving By Car: From the east take the B354 from Weymouth towards Bridport. Turn right into East Street, Chickerell & 100 yds take left into West Street. Stonebank 100 yds on right. From the west on the B354 from Bridport direction turn left into West street.
Arriving By Train: Weymouth is the nearest railway - 3 miles east of Chickerell
Arriving By Bus/Coach: Weymouth is the nearest coach stop. Local buses run from Weymouth to Chickerell frequently during the day.
Nearest Airport: Bournemouth airport is approx. 30 miles

Gas central heating and all power, linen and towels are included.Parking beside the property.
