Bedrooms & Sleeping
Master BedroomA double bed with luxury toppers that make for a great night's sleep. This room has a walk in wardrobe/vanity area and access to the Jack and Jill style bathroom (two door access). There is a TV, hairdryer and bed linen and towels are provided.
Second BedroomThis room has two single beds, again each with luxury toppers offering a great night's sleep. There is a single wardrobe and over bed storage space. The bathroom is directly opposite. Bed linen and towels are provided.
Living & Facilities
Kitchen/Dining AreaThere is a modern kitchen which is light and airy with windows on either side - facilities include a fridge/freezer, gas oven/grill and a gas hob. There is also a microwave and toaster. There is a selection of high quality crockery/cutlery, glasses and cooking and picnic equipment available. Tea towels are provided. There is a dining table that comfortably seats 4/5 and a high chair is available on request.
LoungeThe lounge can be separated if required from the kitchen/dining area with folding back doors. The lounge has free standing luxury furniture and the large sofa can be made into a single bed if required. (bedding available) There is a TV and DVD player and a selection of games and DVD's to watch. Every detail has been thought through with even cosy blankets provided in one of the cupboards. The lounge has patio doors leading to the decking area.
BathroomThis is a Jack and Jill style bathroom (two door access) that can be accessed from both the master bedroom and the hall. It is modern and has a large shower unit, toilet and handbasin. Bath and hand towels are provided but please bring your own towels for the beach and pool.
OutsideThe decking area can be accessed from both the main door and also the patio doors in the lounge. The decking has a table/chairs with parasol available. There are beach chairs available for use in the storage unit on the decking. This is an ideal place for al fresco dining and there are views from one side of the decking across the solent to the needles on the Isle of Wight.
Location & Surroundings
Avon BeachFrom Sandhills Holiday park, you can walk out onto the promenade and then turn left directly onto the award winning Avon Beach. There is a restaurant, the Noisey Lobster and other food stalls available including coffee, ice cream and fish and chips. There is also a shop that sells freshly baked bread, newspapers and a selection of other items including clothing and souveniers.
Mudeford QuayTurn right out of Sandhills Holiday park onto the promenade and you can walk down to Mudeford Quay, famous for crabbing - you can buy equipment in the shop just by the Haven House Inn. From here you can take the ferry directly across to Hengistbury Head - famous for its expensive beach huts!
New ForestThe New Forest is around a ten minute drive from Lazy Daze. There is a huge amount to explore in the New Forest including museums, wildlife parks and fantastic walks and cycle ways.
BournemouthBournemouth is around a 30 minute drive from Lazy Daze. There are lots of seaside attractions and activities on offer in this popular buzzing seaside town.
LymingtonLymington is a famous sailing resort with a pretty market town with many designer shops and eateries. You can take the ferry across to the Isle of Wight from here. The market is held on Saturdays. Nearby is the pretty village of Keyhaven, here you can walk or take a ferry out to Hurst Point and the famous Hurst Castle.
Directions & Getting Here
Arriving By Car: For SatNav use BH23 4AL. From Lyndhurst take A35 towards Christchurch. Stay on A35 to the r'bout past KFC. Turn left towards New Milton on A337. At next r'about turn R and follow rd past Sandpiper pub, to sharp RH bend. Sandhills Park is 50m on LHS.
Arriving By Train: The nearest main railway station is Christchurch which is 3.5km away. You could then take a bus or taxi to Lazy Daze. Christchurch station is on the Southwest Trains line from Waterloo
Arriving By Bus/Coach: The nearest bus routes for Lazy Daze are the X1 and X2 which run alternatively every 30 minutes from Bournemouth Square. If arriving by bus, ask the driver for the Avon Beach /Mudeford (Beach Approach) stop. It is then just a short walk to Lazy Daze.
Nearest Airport: Bournemouth International (Hurn) is the nearest airport and is 8.5km away.
