Living & Facilities
Living Areas and FacilitiesThe main living area of the chalet is open plan. It is 'L' shaped and the bunk beds and single bed are in the longer part of the space. The double bed folds up completely into the wall of the sitting room area, and has a full depth mattress on it. There is a sofa/chairs, fold down dining table, flat screen tv/dvd player. The small kitchen is fully equipped and has electric cooker, microwave and fridge. There is a separate loo and washbasin.
Other AmenitiesThere is a shower block with electric showers a two minute walk away and additional toilet facilities - separate male and female facilities for both. Private access key in chalet. Also on the site there are washing machines available for use. The shop itself has a good range of supplies for holiday needs, including, bread, newspapers, general food supplies/ provisions and beach toys. Hot and cold food available.
Location & Surroundings
The BeachDunster Beach is unique - safe sandy beach and a traditional friendly idyllic holiday for all the family or for couples of any age. The chalet opens straight onto beach and bay. There is tennis and putting on site. The lake is beautiful and is surrounded by a woodland walk. Ducks waddle about at will and swans sit and survey because the site is a nature reserve too. There is peace for adults and fun filled hours for children.
Immediate AreaThe site borders a sea front golf course and is also an easy walk to the steam railway with its Exmoor backdrop. The cobbled streets of Dunster village are a 15 minute walk or a 5 minute ride away. Parking is easy and there are many little shops and a selection of traditional pubs and restaurants. Overlooking all this is the magnificent Dunster Castle which is a National Trust property and is surrounded by beautiful grounds and a water mill
Slightly Further AfieldIf anyone fancies a little more noise and bustle the traditional seaside town of Minehead is only ten minutes away by car. It has a seafront amusement arcade and a Butlins with a cinema and all the fun you can imagine. Also there are more shops, restaurants and pubs.
Surrrounding AreaExmoor awaits you in all its glory - it is as near or as far as you choose to explore. Ranging hills and sparkling streams are wonderful for exploring or for family picnics.
Practical AmenitiesIf you want to stock up - there is a supermarket 5 minutes drive away from the site with everything you could wish for.

Arriving By Car: M5 Motorway; Follow Bridgewater A39; approx 25 miles towards Minehead; just past sign for Dunster Village take the next right marked 'Dunster Station and Dunster Beach'. Follow Sea Lane down to Dunster Beach.
