Kilmore Quay
Kilmore Quay is a beautiful fishing village, not commercialised. Kilmore Quay os a lovely small and safe beach beside the harbour and marina. Magnificent Ballyteige Strand on the other side, only safe for swimming at certain times. Boat trips out to the Saltee Islands, home to Puffins and Gannets. Fishing trips, scuba diving trips. Kehoes pub, Silver Fox Restaurant, Hotel Saltees - all serve very good food. Cod End Restaurant is new, haven't tried it. Fresh fish shop where you can buy the latest catch.
