West Kilbride I lived in Scotland until I was 7 years old and it is a wonderful place, especially for children and families.
West Kilbride has lots of shops for all of your needs, including a bakery, sweet shop e.t.c. It has a huge library and a very popular nursery and junior school.
There is also a large park, with swings, slides and roundabouts for children.
It has a lovely atmosphere and really is the perfect Scottish village.

Largs Largs is a traditional West of Scotland seaside town.
It is a popular destination for short breaks, family holidays and for day trippers.
There are Golf Courses, Bowling Greens, Ten Pin Bowling, Fishing, Sailing, and lots more.
The prom from Aubery Park at the north end to the Pencil at the south is about 2 miles, and is a very pleasant walk.
Each Year there is a Viking Festival which commemorates the Battle of Largs in 1263. Vikingar and Kelburne Country Centres are Visitor Attractions for young and old.
A ferry runs from the pier to the Island of Cumbrae. It is a ten minute crossing, then there is a bus connection to the town of Millport, or you can walk right round the island which is about 10 miles.
Back in Largs there are plenty of places to eat and drink, and it is famed for its ice cream and fish and chips.
It is within easy reach of Burns Country, Culzean Castle, Loch Lomond, Argyll and the islands of Bute and Arran.
There is an hourly train service to Glasgow, and Glasgow and Prestwick Airports are about 40 minutes drive from the town.
