Cemaes Camaes is a picturesque seaside village with two fantastic beaches, clean sand, rock pools, cliffs, access the restored coastal paths.
It has a few pubs and restaurants, chip shop, newsagent, bakers, butchers, chemist, convenience store, hairdressers, coffe shop.
Great base to tour the Island or keep to Cemaes, have a go at throwing your own pot in the village pottery. Jam factory near by, Cemlyn nature reserve a short drive.
Douglas Inn at Tregele near by, great food and friendly staff, stayed at Coed Cottages, clean, friendly and comfortable, lovely grounds, plenty of room for the kids to let off steam!
Definately be visiting again!

Beaumaris I went to beaumaris for the day to visit my sister and my daughter who were horse riding for the week, what a wonderful place, no mc donalds which was a bonus.
All the children I saw were crabbing or fishing, fabulous beach, has a 1950s feel!
Went to red wharf bay too again fab!!!!

Gwalchmai We had a lovely holiday in Gwalchmai, staying in a farmhouse with lambs jumping up at the kids bedroom window. They have never forgotten it and we used the farmhouse as a base for the rest of anglesey. I'd recommend gwalchmai to anyone.

Gwalchmai Gwalchmai is a nice and peacefull village with around 1000 people living here. I was born here, so I do know a lot about the place.
We have a beach just 5 miles down the road, lots of public footpaths and nature walks, a nice friendly shop with everything thing you could need.
Everyone is always chatting no matter where you come from, even the children are polite.
There is so much to know about gwalchmai, like the annual anglesey show is just around the corner, a small airfield for lessons.
